Catering Account Manager

We are actively hiring a Catering Account Manager to join our in-house culinary team LaRue Culinary. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, calm under pressure, and confident when working with clients, proposals, and event logistics.

This role plays a crucial part in keeping both our internal teams and our clients aligned throughout the planning process. From tastings and proposals to final event execution, you’ll be the go-to person for clear communication, timely follow-up, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. We value professionalism, initiative, and a high level of personal accountability. PLEASE NOTE: This position is officially employed by LaRue Culinary, the exclusive catering partner endorsed at our venues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Tastings

  • Conduct tastings with clients to help them select the best menu options

  • Accurately record client selections and preferences

  • Create customized proposals based on client’s chosen menu items

Proposal Management

  • Create, update, and maintain detailed client proposals

  • Supervise adherence to proposal and employee accountability standards

  • Streamline and update the proposal process using CRM software

  • Collect payments from clients and ensure timely processing

Client Management & Communication

  • Manage all client accounts and relationships for the catering team from booking through the event date

  • Serve as the main point of contact for client questions, needs, or changes related to catering

  • Schedule and lead client meetings, tastings, and check-ins as needed

  • Respond promptly to clients via email, phone, and text to ensure a high level of customer service

  • Provide timely and accurate internal communication to keep all departments aligned

  • Ensure seamless communication between the kitchen, account executives, and other departments

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Great verbal and written skills

  • Previous experience in catering, event planning, or administration preferred

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in software like Event Temple or similar event management platforms is a plus

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

SCHEDULE:​

  • Full-Time

  • Tuesdays to Saturdays (flexible hours, weekend availability required)
