Fall Internship
Sandlewood Manor is in search of a part-time Fall Intern to work weddings and events at our luxury event venue. The Fall Intern will work alongside the Event Manager/Coordinator to ensure that the planning process and execution of events run smoothly.

Ability to work flexible hours - including late nights and weekends with assigned events.

Must be able to lift up to 40-50 pounds.

Must be able to start asap.

Contract position

Able to work most Fri/Sat/Sun nights

Exceptional customer service

Must be able to lift heavy equipment (assist with moving tables)

Fluency in English, bi-lingual a plus Experience in the event industry is a plus

Staff members will also assist in other areas as directed by management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Oversee property status of Event Staff, Grand Ballroom, Manor House, and Chapel

Stow away of event decor used assisting with ceremony/cocktail hour
-
Reception operation- Assist coordinators as needed for the event

Serve as general support for event operations.

Create and review current materials, contracts, and checklists for events

Serve as an on-site contact for assigned events.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
-
1 year minimum experience in wedding coordination and event industry
